What is Bowen

Bowen Therapy consists of a series of precisely placed soft tissue moves that involve lightly rolling across and gently "plunking" various muscles, tendons and ligaments. Bowen Therapy typically performs these very subtle and delicate moves using the pads of the finger tips and thumbs. Force is NOT applied. Undue force and pressure are not needed, indeed too much force would impede the success of Bowen Therapy.

One of the major benefits of Bowen is allowing the body to rebalance itself using a non-force technique.

  • Do you lose fat cells or do they just shrink with Lipo Laser and Fat Cavitation treatments?
No matter how much weight we gain or lose, we still have the same number of fat cells. We look heavier when we gain weight because the fat cells expand. When we lose weight, our fat cells shrink. Because non-invasive fat removal kills some fat cells, the targeted cells are gone forever.
  • Does fat cavitation permanently destroy fat cells?
Through gentle heat and vibration, the fat cells liquify and release their contents. Because our fat cells do not multiply and our fat cell count remains relatively stable, the treatment is permanent and will not need to be repeated once the desired shape has been achieved.
  • How long does fat cavitation results last?
Cavitation lipo is much less expensive than surgical liposuction, even with a series of multiple treatment sessions. Each treatment is relatively quick, taking less than an hour for most patients and has no downtime. Results are considered permanent when paired with a healthy diet and regular exercise.
  • Is a big belly a health risk?
Excess belly fat can be dangerous because it surrounds internal organs and puts you at greater risk for developing several kinds of health problems, including heart disease, diabetes and liver problems.
